We have great news for you. The former textile factory on Staroměstská Street is coming back to life. We invite you to the grand opening of the new cultural and community center Nová Osmička, which is being built on the premises of the historic spinning mill.
What was once a closed industrial complex known as the "Neumann Brothers Spinning Mill" is being transformed into the beating heart of the city. The complex became the property of Love production s.r.o. in September and is now ready to welcome its first visitors. Come and see how the space has been transformed and what's in store for you here.
What can you expect at the grand opening?
We are preparing a day full of relaxation, discovery, and above all, fun and experiences for you. Whether you remember the old textile factory or are looking for a new place to spend your free time, you have something to look forward to:
- ✨ Tours of the new premises: Explore the nooks and crannies that make use of the raw industrial character for modern purposes.
- 🍔 Gastro zone: Enjoy select coffee and great food in the new zone made up of container units.
- 🤝 Meet the creators: Meet the people behind the project, led by Kamil Rudolf, and learn more about their vision firsthand.
- 🎨 Accompanying program: A varied program awaits you, which we will gradually reveal.
A new era begins: Culture, Sports, and Community
The opening of the gates is just the beginning. Starting in May 2026, the new Osmička will become a community oasis offering a program for every day.
The complex will be based on four main pillars:
- Culture lives on: We are preparing more than 120 events – from concerts and theater performances to summer cinema and debates. You can look forward to festivals such as Art of Život and Jazz ve městě.
- Sport & Well-being: The historic halls will come alive with movement. Come and do yoga, try indoor activities, or take part in exercise workshops.
- Relaxation & Gastronomy: A place to meet friends over good food and drink.
- Community: We are creating a space for neighborhood gatherings and new ideas to be born. A unique Adventure playground will be prepared for children.
Most of the program will be available free of charge or for a voluntary admission fee, so that we can make Nová Osmička a place for everyone.
