About the Event

LET'S WORK FUNCTIONALLY WITH YOGA: Karel Fousek: Lecture: A holistic view (not only) of women's health

Talk Stage - 20.9.- 17:00 to 18:00

Health problems can only rarely be truly and permanently cured using one method or approach. A true and deep healing process almost always requires a combination of multiple methods on multiple levels of a person's being. And that's what holistic medicine is all about. And this lecture will also be about that.

MUDr. Karel Fousek graduated from the 3rd Medical Faculty of the Charles University in Prague in 2013. After completing his studies, he joined the gynecology and obstetrics department of the Ostrava City Hospital, where he still works today. Gradually, his professional path led to the field of prenatal diagnostics. He is the head of the counseling center for high-risk pregnancies and a nationally and internationally certified ultrasound specialist in the field of perinatology. He is also the founder and creator of the concept of the NAU Comprehensive Gynecology Clinic in Ostrava (NAU Clinic), in which, together with the entire team of experts, he offers comprehensive solutions to women's problems with the aim of truly treating and not just solving symptoms. In her work, she combines the latest procedures of Western medicine (ultrasound diagnosis, physiotherapy and others), knowledge of Eastern philosophies, alternative methods of treatment and puts everything into an overall concept of women's health care. In his spare time, he likes to do sports, regularly runs, skis, walks in the mountains and relaxes by working at the family cottage in the Beskydy Mountains. He also likes to read, especially books in the field of self-development and human health care. He is the father of three sons.
