How Reservations Work

Reserve your spot at Nová Osmička events quickly and easily. Learn how the process works, what needs to be confirmed, and what to keep in mind.

Why reserve your spot?

Reservation = guaranteed entry

A reservation guarantees that you will get into the event. With a valid reservation, you can be sure that a spot is reserved for you.

Without a reservation

You can attend the event without a reservation. However, if the venue is full, you may not be allowed in. We recommend reserving your spot in advance to be safe.

Event capacity

Some events have a fixed capacity that cannot be increased. Others may allow expanded capacity, but this is not guaranteed. A reservation is the surest way to get in.

How It Works

Four simple steps to your reservation.

Choose an event

Browse the programme and find an event you're interested in. Events with free reservations show the number of remaining spots.

Sign in

You need an account to make a reservation. Register or sign in via Eight ID, Google, or Facebook.

Reserve

Click the reservation button, choose the number of people, and set a reminder. You'll receive a confirmation email and notification.

Confirm attendance

About 3 days before the event, you'll receive a reconfirmation request. Confirm with one click in the email or in the app – otherwise your reservation will be automatically cancelled.

Reconfirmation

The most important step – don't forget to confirm that you're actually coming!

Important notice

Approximately 3 days before the event, we will send you an email and notification asking you to confirm your attendance. If you don't confirm by the deadline, your reservation will be automatically cancelled and the spot will be released to those on the waitlist.

~3 days before event

You receive an email and notification requesting attendance confirmation. It contains a one-click confirmation link.

~2 days before event

If you haven't confirmed yet, you'll receive a reminder. This is your last chance!

Confirmation

Click the link in the email or confirm directly in the app. The entire process takes 2 seconds.

Deadline expired

If you don't confirm by the final deadline, the reservation will be automatically cancelled. The next person on the waitlist will automatically receive your spot.

Waitlist

How it works

If the event is fully booked, you can join the waitlist. You'll be notified as soon as a spot becomes available – whether through a cancellation or an unconfirmed reservation.

Automatic promotion

When a spot opens up, the first person on the waitlist is automatically promoted to an active reservation and receives a confirmation notification. You don't need to do anything – the system handles it for you.

Reservation confirmations, reconfirmation requests, and reminders – all important updates delivered to your inbox.

Enable push notifications to stay updated in real time, wherever you are.

In-app

The notification centre in your profile shows all important updates in one place.

When making a reservation, you can set a reminder for 24 hours or 2 hours before the event starts.

Cancellation

Your cancellation

  • You can cancel your reservation at any time before the deadline in the event detail under My Reservations.
  • After cancellation, you'll receive a confirmation email.
  • The freed-up spot will be automatically offered to the first person on the waitlist.

Automatic cancellation

  • If you don't confirm your attendance by the deadline (approx. 3 days before the event), your reservation will be automatically cancelled.
  • You'll be notified of the automatic cancellation by email.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, reservations for all events with free reservation are completely free of charge. A reservation simply guarantees your spot at the event.

If you don't confirm by the final deadline (usually about 1 day before the event), your reservation will be automatically cancelled and the spot will be given to the next person on the waitlist.

Yes, you can update the number of people in the event detail as long as the reservation is active and capacity allows it.

In the event detail, you'll see your reservation status – either "confirmed" or "waitlisted". You'll also receive a corresponding notification.

Of course! You can have active reservations for any number of events simultaneously.

When you arrive at the event, present your QR code from your profile or confirmation email. The organiser will scan it and you're checked in.

If the event is cancelled by the organiser, you'll be automatically notified by email and notification. Your reservation will be cancelled.
